Automotive News has recognized Frank Leta Honda and Frank Leta Acura as two of the top ten auto dealerships to work for in all of America. Frank Leta Acura was named the third best auto dealership to work for in America and Frank Leta Honda won honors as the seventh best dealership to work for in the U.S.. Automotive News partnered with Best Companies Group to identify dealerships in the U.S. and Canada that have excelled in creating quality workplaces for employees. The program measured workplace satisfaction through a confidential survey of employers and employees.
General Manager of Frank Leta Acura, said, "We strive to promote a
friendly and supportive work environment for all of our employees. It's a
total team effort and I thank each of our valued team members for
making this possible!" Brown added that the dealership uses incentives
like Cardinals and Blues tickets to reward employees for outstanding
customer service and to create opportunities for colleagues to bond outside of work.
Frank Leta Acura was among the first Acura dealers in the Midwest. "
We've been in business since Acura started selling cars in 1986 and we continue to thrive, thanks to the dedication of our staff", said Brown.
Michael Brown, General Manager of Frank Leta Honda, said, "We feel that our employees are definitely part of our family, and apparently they feel that way too. To be ranked as the 7th best dealership to work for in the entire nation is a complete surprise. I must thank all of our loyal team members for this honor!"
According to Brown, much of their success with employees comes from practices like promoting from within and finding different positions for underperformers where they can excel, instead of just firing them. Frank Leta Honda was the first Honda dealer in the entire Midwest. They've been in business since Honda started selling automobiles in 1971.
The top dealerships were revealed at the Best Dealerships to Work For program and gala awards dinner on Oct. 17, 2012 at the Ritz-Carlton Chicago, and will be profiled in an Automotive News special section on Oct. 22, 2012. AutoTrader.com, Manheim and vAuto are the exclusive lead sponsors of the event and special section.
