Frank Leta Charitable Foundation Donates Vehicle to Kahalia, Boys and Girls Club Youth of the Year
Every donation the Frank Leta Charitable Foundation makes leaves an imprint on our hearts, and this one is no different. We love giving back to our community and especially love when our efforts can impact the lives of our young people.
Kahalia, the Boys and Girls Club Youth of the Year, is an impressive young girl. Being named the Youth of the Year (the highest honor a member can receive) is based on the individual’s contributions to their school, community, family, and the Boys and Girls Club. In addition to being the Youth Ambassador for Boys and Girls Club, Kahalia also networked with representatives at the Capitol in Jefferson City and was recognized by Delux Magazine by receiving the Phenomenal Kid Award.
We love working with Boys and Girls Club of Greater St. Louis for many reasons, one of the biggest being the impact they make on the kids that use their services and participate on a daily basis. (In fact, we volunteered this year for Team Honda Week of Service at their summer camp at Adam’s Park–that’s how much we love them!). At the end of the day, their mission is why we partner with them every year to provide a new car to their Youth of the Year!
Frank Leta Automotive Group Operations Manager, Steve Brown, says, “It’s always a joy to meet the Youth of the Year and hear about how much they’ve accomplished and how far they’ve come with the help of Boys and Girls Club of St. Louis. We know that our youth are St. Louis’ future, which is why providing a vehicle for the Youth of the Year is something we’re honored to do and enjoy.”
